We set Cat Fever in the BP Building and even ripped off the company colors and logo. We expected enormous controversy and huge sales in the Cleveland market but BP managed to keep it out of the news. We learned that BP fights hard, plays dirty, and likes to keep a very low profile.
From the Publisher
Cat Fever is an excellent first work that evokes the style of a young F. Scott Fitzgerald.
From the Author
Cat Fever is a love story contained within a murder mystery set it in the two cities I know best, Cleveland and San Francisco. The 20-page Prologue sets ambitious goals for the work and provides readers with the suspense and motivation to read the love story to solve the murder mystery. My goal was to fulfill a literary challenge set forth by F. Scott Fitzgerald: "If you have anything to say you have got to feel it so desperately that you will find some way to say it that nobody has ever found before, so that the thing you have to say and the way of saying it blend as one matter, as indissolubly as if they were conceived together." Critics may not appreciate it, but I'm convinced I've done it.
